Yeah, I totally want an Allroad now. It just seems to perfect for just about everything I’d need it for.
It’s either a B5 S4, B6 S4, Allroad or a mystery card of some sort.

I spent nearly my whole day at work looking at B7 S4/S5s. Aren’t Allroads the least reliable of the crop?

It really seems to depend on keeping up with maintenance and the owner of the car, but in general they do get a bad rap for reliability.
Like, some of them are completely dead cars with busted air suspension and blown turbos. But then again, there’s also plenty of perfectly maintained cars that aren’t hateful at all.

Your requirements for a car must not include “runs”.

No love for the most repair-worthy of all?

Yes! Sadly, manual W8 wagons are very rare. Which is exactly what I would want. Probably in black also. You know what? The one in that picture is exactly what I want/need.
The sound that they make it absolutely amazing though.

Ironically as we’re talking about unreliable W8 wagons Kinja says your response was -2 seconds ago.

What the hell? We weren’t talking about DeLoreans?
Just Kinja, doing Kinja things I guess.

I knew independence would be bad.

The other bad thing is that now that Oppo is unified from Jalopnik, we probably are going to get even less Kinja support that we already do.

Why did independence even happen in the first place?

I really have no idea, I can’t explain it.

It just seems to perfect for just about everything I’d need it for.
Except actually working. My friend had one and it was a constant money pit. He spent thousands every year on repairs and his wasn’t a beater either; these cars are so horribly expensive to keep up.

Again, it seems to vary a lot on the owner.
2.7TT or 4.2? Doing your own work can save thousands.

Wow that sounds so 5 cylinder-y.
